Lazio is a region in central Italy. The capital is the famous city of Rome. Other towns in the region are Rieti, Frosinone, Latina and Viterbo. It shares a border with Campania, Abruzzo, Molisa, Umbria, Tuscany, and Le Marche. In addition, it sits on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Some areas have hills or some elevation but most of the terrain is flat.
